Though there has been a lot of discussion and awareness about the deleterious effects of rainforest destruction, the true impact of such devastation has still not been fully understood by a majority of the world population. The fact that the Amazon rainforests and the savannas harbor more than seventy percent of the world flora, and are thus very crucial to planet Earth, is yet to be recognised.

Even if we carry on to use fossil fuels, there are so many downsides to this. While it`s expected that we still have some time left on the existing fuels, they will ultimately run out. They are a fixed resource that we`ll certainly use up. At the moment, we are accessing the simplest sources, but soon, more work will be required to get to the other areas that can supply us with this type of fuel.
